How to export Assembly sketches

Biagio

New member
I have been trying to get assembly sketch entities to export into any type of neutral file but unable to do. I think there is an option in IGES where there is a button for curves but they do not export.

Assy Sketches

Well Dear,

I dont think there is any way. but i want 2 share my trick with u.

Well open that assy and insert a new part in the assy (just like we work in top down design). Now convert all the skecthes u want to copy in that part using sketch convert entity command.

Now open that part and break/remove all the external references and save it.

wish this cud help u sum way.

assy sketches

are you trying to export 3d or 2d sketches?

sketches can be generated on each part piece and copied to the clipboard.
then they can be paisted into a new part.
