Hi all,
New to this forum and the world of 3D mechanical design.
I am using Inventor Pro 2019 and have an issue when trying to create a 3D body using the loft wizard. I found a video tutorial which shows a very simple vase-like object being created using the loft with rails function (here is the video for your reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsLNN6SCzak). I follow the steps exactly as in the video but when I get to the part for drawing the guide rail(s) I get stuck. The problem I am having is that with the spline tool I cannot get the cursor to snap onto the objects in any of the three sketches created (just as in the video), though snapping onto the axes of the sketch plane I am in is not a problem whatsoever.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
