Maximum size of a surface

Justin So

New member
Hello everybody,

I'm new in this forum and i started to use Catia like 1 year ago.

I was wondering if it was possible to create a box that could content an entire random surface, so i can get the maximum height, lenght and width of the surface.
I don't really care about the orientation of the box, if its not normal or parallel to the plan xy/yz/xz

Thank you!

PS: sry for my english, i'm French so... if there's any mistakes, dun hesitate to correct me :)

the Measure Inertia tool will give you this information. Make sure you turn on the Principal Axis with Customize, and the Bounding Box lengths will be displayed in the tree (BBLx BBLy and BBKz)
