Hi i'm doing some research on mathematical models that is behind the creation of curves and surfaces for 3D modelling and would like to know anyone here can enlighten me on the type each CAD package is using e.g. Rhino3D uses NURBS or Non Uniform Rational B-Splines. How about Solidworks AutoCAD etc? Anyone can share?:)

Cheers

What is the preference in CAD designers as far as stereolithography is concerned. I want to be certain that I have the proper translation programs.
