If you right click on the sketch , in the contextual menu you should have three option

Select edit definition, this will bring you back to the edit tool bar

Select the first icon - Plane Step

One thing to make sure when relocate a plane, there is a reference at the bottom right, make sure you keep a logical orientation to make sure the sketch is transfer correctly.

Example, if the reference was vertical, make sure you transfer to another location, you keep it vertical.

Read the status/Promptbar for the key to use, to orient the plane.

Also be aware that placing the sketch plane in another location or orientating, you may loose some 2D content, because you will not look at the part from the same point of view..

If you move the sketch plane parallel to it's previous location, all constraints should transfert correctly.

If need post the part so we can look at it.
