Text in Modeling

Do you want text like a simple note or label ?

In NX4 Start the Drafting application and when the drawing dialog appears click cancel. If ther already is a drawing select View and disable display sheet. Now you are in you modeling view and you can use insert - anotation. When you create notes they will be parallell to the plane of the work coordinates so you may need to move the WCS prior to creating the note. Also any notes will be view dependent.

If you want text attached to the model use Insert - curve - text and you ca place a note on a face of the model.

Regards

You can change the note / label from view dep. to model by using view dep. edit (change view dep to model)
