Hello gents and ladies, I am looking for a class in the chicagoland or surrounding area that covers a good amount of advance surfacing, advance draft techniques and general part setup. Does anyone know of a good class?
Not sure about Chicago, but there are several CATIA Value Added Resellers in Detroit that provide CATIA training. Make sure you find someone who is certified by Dassault.
But, most of the classroom education that's available, is basic and only covers the normal stuff. Sounds like you want/need something specific to the forging industry. You will probably have to get some customized training that is designed around your use of CATIA. Start by contacting the VAR that sold you CATIA. You can probably get an instructor to come to you, but it will probably also be expensive since they will have to develop special training material just for you.
