Catia doesn't save parts!

Hi everyone,

I'm a student and I start to use Catia V5 student edition for my uni-projects. The first problem what i meet... That's I can't save the part. Catia don't allow me that or otherwise the save options are unavailable.
Can anybody help me.

You might be in Demo Mode. Use Tools + Options and look at Licensing page to turn off Demo Mode

You might also be running Version 6 (not 5), which only lets you save files into a database.

Your University should have someone who can help you with problems like this.
