I need to generate a curve from an inclined plane cutting through a cylinder. I followed the math from this document here under "unwrapping an ellipse from a circular cylinder". I also came up with the equation on my own to make sure I understood the procedure. The problem I am getting is that my amplitude is not correct. I am not sure where I am going wrong. I've attached the file if anyone is interested. I am using SolidWorks 2015.
