Export billing material

Hello!

How can I export billing material to Excel file, if I don't have Excel installed?

I have LibreOffice installed, that opens and saves Excel files normaly (default). Is there any macro or settings, that I can change in CATIA (e.g. default document viewer: LibreOffice and not Excel)?

Export to txt is the last option...

Thanks for taking time.

Regards

The CATIA Bill of Material tool only exports to .txt, .html. or .xls formats.

If I understand your post; two of those options would produce a file that you could open with your LibreOffice software.

I know there are some custom written Bill of Material macros that have written for CATIA. Perhaps they interface directly with LibreOffice, or could be modified to do so. Search the internet.
