Hammered Finished in CAD file

Hello all,

I'm new here. I use 3Design for my CAD work, and I hope someone can give me some advice. I'm trying to apply a hammer finish to a piece in the CAD file, just to see if it can be done well. Has anyone here applied hammer finish the the design or do you just let the jeweler apply it after it has been cast?
