Joining two solids

New member

Hi , Could any one help with a problem Please. I want to join two Pads together created in diffirent bodys, the pads have parallel faces 10mm apart and a thickness of material apart in height (3mm), I have created the part in generative shape design, then used thick surface tool to make a solid, but is there a quick way in part design to bridge the two pads together?
I have added an image to better explain.
Thanks for your input

In the Part Design workbench, there is a Boolean Operations toolbar. You can use the ADD to join the second PartBody to the first one. (An ASSEMBLE operation will give you the same result).

The quickest method is to create both ThickSurfaces in the same PartBody, so they would be joined automatically.
