Linking Summary Info

I have a part file and a drawing file. My colleague made it so that once you place the part file onto the drawing file the summary information from the part file gets transferred to the drawing file's summary information. He left and I never found out how he did that. Can anyone help me?

You need to set up custom properties and link notes in your sheet format to them.

I would check out videos like these (i havnt watched them in full but will give you an idea of the sort of thing your'e looking for)...
