Modelling human knee....need help plz...

i am doing a project in my college which requires modelling of human knee.I need some head start about how to go about this in catia.
I have the scans of bones...but i need to know how to get the dimensions from this fed into catia.If anyone has tutorials on any such topic plz let me know.
