Problem creating mutliple concentric holes

Hi,

I have been trying to create multiple concentric holes of growing size inside a volume without much success.

I create a first hole (say 15mm wide) and then try to create a larger one starting from the bottom of the first (say 20mm wide). This has the effect of eliminating the first hole, leaving a single large hole in its place. I tried to create a new plane at the bottom of the first hole but it made no difference. How do I solve this?

Any and all assistance is appreciated!

Are you trying to use the Hole command for these concentric holes?

Instead, I would suggest making a sketch of the profile of the stepped hole and then use the Groove command to make the hole.
