Question about Extrude

Hi All,

I am learning SolidWorks with tutorials, but sometimes I have questions.
Now I have a shape (ring, see the picture I've added) which I cut out of a bigger shape,
and I would like to extrude the shape to the inside of the ring/circle. So I used Convert Entities in a 3D sketch, but I can't extrude it.
Are there other solutions?

Make Sure That Your 3D Sketch Is Closed.
Try 'Surface Fill' By Selecting Your 3D Sketch And Then 'Thickening' It.
