Question:
Hi, Im new to the forum and this is my first post.
I have build this surface model of my car using GSD and Automotive Class A workbenches. It is to be machined as a scale model for wind tunnel testing.

My question is that I am having trouble using the Close Surface Function. Is there another way I can make the part solid, as I need to design solid features required for manufacture.

Thank you in advance
Rob

Based on the attached images, it looks like all the surfaces are there, so you should be able to create a solid from them. Did you Join them first?

What is the error messge you get when you try to make the ClosedSurface solid?

Another method would be to Join only one side of the surfaces (assuming the car is symmetrical). Then try to make the solid from that half join, and mirror the solid to get the complete car.
