Tips on Modelling a Rubber Track

Hey guys,
Just joined the site this morning.

Im looking for some tips on drawing a rubber track that can move. Is it possible?

Im trying to model this Lego technic track
http://www.3dcadforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=550&stc=1&d=1271594143

Is there a way to draw them so that it will move and act as a track and not just a solid part. I have it drawn and added the material as rubber but its still a solid.
If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciated.
If not I will just have to animate the wheels on thier own instead to drive along the ground.

Thanks

To have rubber track act like an actual track isn't possible. Either you need to create that part in form of assembly (in which several parts are linked together) but again that will make the file heavier and I'm not sure if that'll work work as expected.

Here is a post (How to animate simple Spur Gear in SolidWorks) explaining a technique using which you can animate the wheels
