Tolerances in model & drawing environment

Hello all,

I have a query. I’m wondering if you can help me with this.

Query:
When I specify tolerances to dimensions in model environment, I’m still able to specify tolerances to those dimensions in the drawing environment. I would like the dimensions in the drawing environment to follow the tolerances specified in the model. This way, I could eliminate specifying different tolerances for the same dimension in different drafts. Helps to maintain uniformity.

Any way this could be achieved in SolidEdge? Please advise.

Thanks.

Hi,

I am using SE ST2 and there you can do what you want (if i understood correctly).
When applied tolerances to dimensions in model environment you can retrieve them by clicking the "Retrieve dimensions" button in draft environment (Sketching -> Dimension -> Retrieve dimensions).

Hope that helped.
