Wrapping sketch over cylinder head end

Dear all,

I am trying to wrap a sketch around the head end of a cylinder. I had no succes so far. The wrap function only supports parralel or tangent faces. I also tried to apply a fillet to the edge of the cylinder head but the wrap function still refuses.

I also tried projecting the sketch on the top face of the cylinder and the side face of the cylinder separately but then the lines on the edge don't line up as needed.

Does anybody have an idea how to do this? thanks!
