Can't select endpoints- please help

I am just learning how to use CATIA and a problem that I have run into a few times is that sometimes I can't select the endpoints of a line segment with my cursor (or vertecies on shapes). So, I can't make a line coincident with a circle for example. I figure it must be some setting that got messed up, but I don't know how to fix it. Any ideas?

I think you need to re install the CATIA or try the settings under tools..options..sketcher....All the best.

You will be facing this problem whenever you want to select an end points of a LINE THAT IS BUILD FROM 2-D SKETCH. But if you build the line with a 3-D line, it will sure give you the end points that you want.

Or

You can also manually create a point at the end of the line to get the point. use point feature in WSD.
