Part display question

I am currently running a tutorial and was wondering how i can get my parts to look like this:

My part display is like this:

How can i create the shiny look.

There is no material added to either part.

Most likely that part was rendered with photoview..

I updated to Solidworks 2015 today, it now displays as the first picture.

2015 is quite different in the way it renders now.
