I'm an Auto Cad user so SW is new to me. I downloaded eDrawings. I have a customer who sent me some files EX: partnumber.SLDASM & partnumber.SLDDRW He also sent me the .PDF file so I could see what they are supposed to look like. When I open the .SLDDRW file there are some things missing compared to the .PDF file and you can certainly tell they are missing. Call outs point to nothing, tables not there, etc... The .SLDASM is the model of the part. Is it possible the the company who made the .SLDDRW file did something wrong and that's why things are missing. Thanks a bunch.

If they sent an assembly, but some of the part files were missing, then they will be missing in the assy or drawing. Also, if they didn't "Pack and Go" the assy, it could be point to incorrect folders for the part files.

Do you have rectangles with dashed lines around them on your drawing? If so the drawing does not know where the assembly model is located. Make sure the drawing and the assembly model are in the same location. File folder, directory c: ect.
