I was wondering if someone knows how to create section views of assemblies where the section is defined by a surface, not a plane, in CATIA? This would allow you to "have a look" inside the assembly, for lack of a better way to put it...
No, you can't section an assembly with a surface. And you can't make a section view in the drawing using a surface for the cutting plane. In both cases, sections must be done with flat planes.
