What is the best way is to create 3d Panoramas from the default Max tool under the utilities>Panorama Exporter? Any suggestions or advice would be greatful to me.
You can use the wraparound(lume) lens shader in the render dialogue box to get the best results, this way you can output 32-bit images in tiff, hdr or openexr formats.
