adding flange to a cylinder?

I'm trying to create a sheet metal cylinder with a flange on the top in SolidWorks 2007. When the part is unfolded it needs to be a rectagular. The unfolded part will be sent directly to a turret punch. The flange will be formed on a press brake and then the part will be rolled to a cylinder. I have tried the same process used here: SolidWorks Tips and Tricks: Create an Edge Flange on a Curved Planar Edge , but the unfolded part is a round ring. Any ideas?
