Adding specification?

Hi,
Can any one help by explaining the procedure to add the specification for the part which will link to the bom in the drawings.
Thanx

Hi,
When the part is opened: Select File Properties from the menu and select the tag Custom or Configuration specific. Under Property name, enter Specification and type should be Text.
Under value, enter your own Specification text and click OK.
And in the drawing, insert the Bill of materials. Click on a column in the BOM and select Column Properties, or add a new Column by right click on the BOM and select Insert Column right or left. Then select Column properties for the new Column and in the Column property box, expand the list in the top box and select Specification, which is the one you recently added in the part’s properties. Now the text you added in the part now appears in the BOM.
