Hi at work I used to use AutoCAD 2003 to copy my drawings into Solidworks 07 and make 3d models from my 2d autocad drawings. Recently I installed Autocad 2009 and now i cant copy past my drawings like I used to. When i copy/paste them it seems to just import them into Solidworks in what looks to by a jpeg??? Any suggestions? I use this at work all the time so any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Does ACAD 2009 allow you to save in an older format. Can you simply load the ACAD 2009 into DWGEditor?

I use the copy with basepoint comand in Acad, then paste in SW2009. Done this many times without a problem.
