Hi all.
I'm working on a Formula Student chassis, and I've been using Solidworks' in-built beam analysis tool with good results.
That was until I upgraded from SW 2011 to 2012...
Now whenever I go to mesh the model, some of the joins between beams go wonky.
Here's an image of what I mean, you can see the orange outline of where the beam should go, and where the mesher decided to join it.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
I've also seen that in the update they added mesh controls for beam analysis, I've found where you can apply mesh controls to specified entities. But when I click "create mesh..." the global control options do not appear, it simply proceeds with mesh generation.
It doesn't throw the results off too much compared to what they were in 2011, but it is quite irritating.
Anyone else had this sort of trouble?
Thanks
Alex
