boundary surface will not let me add a sketch even though the sketch had already been

hi,
I'm try to change an already existing surface.
The surface consists of two sketches each one in a different direction (direction 1 and direction 2), I would like to add to one of the direction - two other sketches.

A) If I remove the existing sketch and after a second try:( to renter the same sketch it's not letting me and write **error** in the Blue Square- directions. Why doesn't he not let me remove and add the exact same sketch? (I have to undo the last action so that it will return to the original status.

B) Is there another way to change an existing SURFACE BOUNDARY-and add additional guidelines to it?
