Hi there i am writing a report on CAD and i am looking for some help from people with experience to help me write the report. I have a few questions that will help me, thanks for your time.

The packages i am writing about are Solid works, Autodesk and ProEngineer

1) Out of the software stated above which is the most user friendly and why?

2) Is there any additionaly equipment needed to use the software such as a CAD mouse, also can files made in each program only be opened by that program or can say, solidworks open autodesk files?

3) How much training is required to use the software or can one be self taught?

Thank you for any help, i am comparing the 3 programs to help with a college course.
