Hi,
I am interested to learn about cad and searching some software, what do you think about these:AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, 3-D StudioMax, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
Thanks

AutoCAD is good for detial drawing, 3-D StudioMax is good for 3d rending, and iLLUSTRATOR good for printing design

how much CAD is used in biomedical engineering ? I am going to join my undergradute program . Please guide me , if somebody have any knowledge .

For any starter,Autocad is the best option. It has different levels. You can make some decent designs of your own after having some knowledge about the package plus you have also some great support online.
Thanks
