compiling a simulation

I am looking to generate an animation file under compile a simulation. The default codec is VFW codec and is Full Frame (Uncompressed). This generates a large file even for the simplest of Kinematics. I downloaded XvidMPEG-4 codec that generates and compresses, and it did the trick for a little while. Now I get (An error occurred while generating the video file! Last error message: VFW :1007 (RC:-2147205016) Check there is enough disk space to store the file. There is plenty of space on the disk. Is there a codec out there that is compatible with Catia that will also compress?
