Convert assembly with multiple parts into single .CATPart

Hi,
I have created an assembly with about 20 .CATPart all in a single .CATProduct, for some reasons I want to convert the whole assembly into a single .CATPart, how can this be done.

Open the assembly, and use TOOLS + GENERATE CATPART FROM CATPRODUCT

(This was added a couple years ago, Rel 14 I think)

i have a single body CATProduct, can i convert into different part bodies?

I'm not sure what you mean by "single body CATProduct"

I'm not aware of any CATIA tool to convert a single bodied part into different bodies. There is the Open in New Body which will place the solid feature into a new body along with a Boolean Assemble operation (which can be deleted), but that is done one feature at a time.
