Dimension Alignment?

Berke

New member
Hi,
I want to get the dimension text to read vertical rather than the standard horizontal. I have tried playing with the styles and it just doesn't seem to work.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,
Edit your styles (Format>>Styles Editor) and then Expand Object Defaults in the left pane and then Highlight the Object Default and then See what dimension style the Default is using Then expand Dimensions in the left pane and click on the dimension the Default is using then in the Orientation section, set all the dims the way you want them, finally Click Done and say yes to save.

Hey Berke,

This is an ISO setting compared to ANSI. In the drawing if you go to Tools/Document settings/Standard you'll be able to choose the standard you wish.
