DMU Kinematics low speed

Hello everybody,

I'm making a simulation in DMU kinematics. the speed of exerting constraints in dmu was good at first. but as the number of parts increased, it has become very slow. it lasts about 40 seconds to exert for example a revolute joint in DMU.

some information about my laptop and file:
no of parts: about 200
cpu: i7-3612QM
Gpu: geforce 740m
ram: 16GB

the problem is completely irritating.

have you tried to run CATDUA, just to clean a little bit your assembly?

Virtual memory !

hi,

try increasing your virtual memory by logging into your admin mode.

my computer..properties...advanced...performance...advanced...virtual memory...allot for every drive as per the space available in each drive...

For example set custom for c drive and set 15000 MB as min and max. then restart your PC.
