Regarding Dr Mather's fabulous tutorial on the making of a Cylindrical Cam, the following:
Step No. 10 is asking to offset a knitted (mirrored) surface, .25" to each side. The offset is selected from the "Surfaces" toolbar. I do not get the option to offset to either side,(bi-directional) nor does the offset parameters window of Dr Mather's show this option.
When Offset is selected from the "Sketch" toolbar, then the bi directional option is offered.
Is this a typo, or what am I missing here. If someone could clarify this for me, I would certainly be thankful.
