How do I create macros?

Hi All,
I'm new to UG, but I've used SolidWorks and ProE before. Enough to say so, but not enough to be an expert. I'm proficient.

How do I create macros in UG? I don't even know where to start. What I'm trying to do is gather some basic measurements in the X-direction.
