How to make a partial section view in drafting?

hi there
i have a complex part with some ribs
now i like to make a section cut exactly on the middle of those ribs excluding the ribs(i know that its possible in assembly to exclude a part from section cut i want to do the exact same thing for a feature(a pad for example))

I've never seen an option to exclude a feature (such as a Pad) from being hatched in a section view. I would just delete (or hide) the hatching on the ribs after the view is cut.
