Hi,
I want to join all of the components of an assembly into a single piece. Currently they are assembled into a solidworks assembly file. Is it possible to take all of the components and combine them into a single part? How to do it?
Any help

There's too methods, depending on what you are looking to do. First method, look up the word Join in the SolidWorks help file. Second method, save the assembly as a part, but pay attention to the settings you use when you do this.

The simplest way is to just save it as a SW part file. You get a multi-body part, or surfaces of your choice. Or use the Join command. If you want to join all of the parts into one of the
parts that already exists, then edit the part in the assembly (RMB on the part in the graphics window or the feature tree, then pick "Edit Part"). Then Insert/Feature/Join and pick all the parts you want to joint to the first.
