Light in an office

Beauchamp

New member
Hi,
I am modeling an office scene for a short film and I need to simulate the lighting of an office at night, I am using mental ray. Can any one suggest the type of lights in the scene where I am trying to simulate a stip of ceiling light and one lamp where the a person will be sitting on the chair and there should be moonlight coming from doors and windows.
Thanks.

Hi,
For the strip of ceiling neon lights you can use some Area Lights. For the lamp you can use IES light. Take a point light in the photometric lights and there's a way you can change it to Web and browes a IES format. And for the moonlight, just a simple Direct light would do it!
Hope this helps you.
