Machining with catia v5

Hello,

I would like to simulate an abrasive machining process whitout the abrasive tool giving from catia.
The abrasive machining process consists of three important mouvements:
- The workpiece has a rotation movement around the Y axis.(Rotation speed=500 rpm)
- The workpiece has also an oscillation movement around the Y axis.(Oscillation length=30mm)
- The abrasive tool has an infeed movement of 1µm in the direction of the X axis.

A figure that ilustrates the abrasive machining process is attached in the link below.
Do you have any idea how to realise this simulation with the software catia in the workbench machining?

Thanks in advance

I believe the tool simulation can be done by replaying the tool path in CATIA or Vericut.

There is a very active CATIA NC discussion group on the COE.org web site. it's a great place to talk to experienced CATIA NC guys, and get their opinions.
