Mirror a part

Hi,
When I try to mirror a part that I have combined into another part an error message appears as shown below:
" one or more features of this mirror are no longer in model"
I have even tried by going back before the combine, but still the error appears.
Any suggestion on what I am doing wrong.

Check the features in the mirror as one of them may have been suppressed or deleted. I believe if you edit the mirror feature it will remove any items that aren't found.
