Modeling of Spring

Hi,
I want to make a helical spring with semi circular hooks, can anyone help me.
Regards.

Hi Axel,
You can find the feature in INSERT > Helical Sweep > Protrusion. You can make a round sketch (wire) and wrap it around the desired axis. To make the hooks, use a sketched sweep feature.
The other way around is by creating curve wrapped around a surface and then sketch to continue the curve at the ends. Make sure that the curve ends at the correct spots by using relations. Once finished sweep a solid around the curve.
I hope this helps you.
Regards.
