Placing this dimension

Hi To all,

I'm learning Catia V5 and I want to position the exterior dimension in the drawing. See red line. How to I do this? The dimension tends to end up at the center of the curve...

To dimension the overall length of the part, just create a dimension from the line on the left, to the arc on the right. If the dimension goes to the center of the arc, right-click and use the EXTENSION LINE ANCHOR option to change where the extension line anchored to.

Here's an easier way:

As you create the dimension, (instead of right-clicking) hold down the Ctrl button and drag the yellow diamond to the new anchor location.
