in solidworks, you should be able to open the file as you would any other file. it matters the version of solidworks you have and the version of pro-e that the file was generated in. Prior to wildfire, solidworks opened all pro-e files. I believe in 2006 and 2007, solidworks will now open wildfire files. If not, have the file saved as an iges in wildfire, then open it in solidworks.
