Screw thread specification

1ll

Newbie
Hello there,
I need yout help !
I am a student and I have a CAD project on Catia.
I want to specify geometrically a screw thread on a drawing, but I do not find the way to do so.

Any ideas ?

Thanks,
1ll

That depends on the drafting standard you are following (ISO? DIN? ASME?), and the type of thread you want to specify. Look in the drafting book you are using in your class - I'm sure it will explain how to do it and have lots of examples.

Hey,

you can create thread in the part design workbench and display the thread in the dimensioning toolbar in drafting. hope it helps.
