Sketch Picture - how to stop it changing document view size

Hi, I'm on the latest version of Solidworks and every time I import a picture (jpeg/png etc) via Sketch Picture:

1. The picture is massive (which I scale down)
2. The massive picture makes Solidworks think the document is that massive size permanently, even after I scale the Sketch Picture down to a much smaller size e.g. from 900mm to 50mm (it goes back to normal if I delete the sketch picture, which is obviously counter-productive when I need it for reference!)

This means that every time I try to rotate the view, zoom-to-fit or view an orthographic angle (front, side etc), it's acting like it's a huge document, making it a huge pain in the a$$! I've scaled down the Planes too, makes no difference.

Please help!

Thanks
