Spring

Hi,
I am using WF2 and I have created a helical sweep using curve from equation.. Can anyone tell me how I can create 'legs' for a torsion spring since the end point of the helical curve isn't perpendicular to the plane?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Raxn,
Follow the steps as shown below:

1) Create an axis tangent to the end of the helical curve by selecting the
curve end point and the curve as reference.

2) Create a plane using this axis(through) and the right plane (normal).

3) Create a plane normal to this and through the end point as a sketch reference.

4) Sketch a curve to create the radius from the spiral to the tang(sweep it).

5) Extrude a cylinder off the end of this to create the tang.

I hope this would be helpful to you.
Enjoy.
