Hey all,
I am a real noob when it comes to thermal analysis but have recently embarked on an ambitious project nonetheless, the thing I want modeled is the thermal distribution (temperature gradient wise) and the ensuing thermal stresses in a vehicle's tailpipe.
What I have already are the fixing conditions to the car's chassis and the temperature of the fluid at the beginning of the tailpipe as well as it's pressure.
What I want exactly is:
the thing is I don't even know how to start so any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

What I want exactly is:
- The temperature distribution along the entire tailpipe (of the pipe not the fluid)
- The thermal stresses caused by the aforementioned thermal distribution
the thing is I don't even know how to start so any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
